Yes, it's official.  I finally found a place and paid for a full year's worth of rent right away.  No questions about credit or references asked because it's all taken care of.  The money spoke for me.  It's a one bedroom + loft (with spiral staircase and a little sky light that lets in a lot of sunshine -- that was predicted by Miya, I guess she was right on!) + bathroom, kitchen, livingroom that has a large window looking out at Schmeeckle Reserve.

I'll be moving in this weekend.  Got the key and everything.  *deeply sighs*  At last I can relax.

And last night I had a dream where I had my brother cut a $4,000 check for whitedevil .  A weird coincidence considering that my new landlord's name is Adam and looks a lot like whitedevil!  My brother also had a dream where he saw me riding a bike near the reserve.  I guess it was meant to be.
