My true love is a black cat...  And here he is giving me a hug.  Yes.  This isn't a photoshopped picture.  Mr. Tommy Snuggles the Midnight Angel likes to give people hugs and kisses!  If you came for a visit, he'd greet you the same.  Because Mr. Snuggles is a heart healer.  Some animals are gifts to us from the Gods.

My sour mood is broken for, say, at least several months now, thanks to being reunited with the cat I rescued.  Yes, you heard it right!  Mr. Snuggles is my baby now.  Kristina had to move after she got accepted into a new apartment where she can't have pets.  I assured her that all will be well, that the cat will not be lonely since I work at home as a cartoonist and, while I'm drawing he'll sit next to me just like he did the weekend before when I was watching over him.  He has been a great companion so far.  Distracting me from any despair that dare creep in!

Last night I did some house cleaning.  Poor kitty went wild!  I think he might've thought I was playing with him as I swept the floor free of paper debris (paper and plastic garbage tends to accumiliate in my apartment like rabbits) because crumpled paper seems to be his favorite toy.

I also found out that my friend Miya was right (always trust a priestess of Bast to tell you secrets about your cats), Mr. Snuggles' first given name was "Tommy" and he was named after The Who musical of the same name.  He comes to me when I sing: "Tommy, can you see me?  Tommy can you feel me?"  Too cute, eh?  Kristina gave him the name "Mr. Snuggles" after she adopted him from the humane society because she felt that Tommy was too common of a name for him, but, hey, the kitty answers to that name more.  But, yes, his spirit is definitely a "Mr. Snuggles!"

I'm so happy.
