Last couple of nights I didn't get much sleep, so I painted a couple more self portraits:

The first is of myself as the Moon or Night.  I have a very round face and I would describe my face as being very "moon-like."  The second is of myself as the Sun or Day.  Notice that in my Moon self portrait I have my eyes open and as the Sun I have my eyes closed.  This means that I'm usually up during the night and I sleep mostly during the day.  In both portraits I show traces of tears because I do tend to weep a lot, not necessarily from pain but because my eyes tear from dryness and allergies and that gives me a lot of grief!  I look at these paintings and realize that I seem very sad in each one and I seem balloon-like or bloated.  What do you see in them?
