UPDATE: I found it HERE .
I've been trying to hunt down a painting by a 19th century (possibly Pre-Raphelite, but more like Orientalism) artist and for some reason it's been very hard to find. It depicts a scene with an Egyptian priestess of Bast lying out an offering to Bast in a funerary rite for a cat. I've seen the painting several times online, but since I forgot what the title and the artist of the painting is, I'm not finding it.
Anyone got a clue?
I've looked through scores of 19th century painters. The closest I could come up with is that the painting I'm searching for looks like it was done by Charles Emile Hippolyte Lecomte-Vernet, Jean-Leon Gerome, or, best and closest to come to the style of Orientalist painting is Frederick Arthur Bridgman...
